Guided Wagon Tours

Hop aboard our open wagon for a guided tour through the back pastures of our 130 acre ranch and experience elk up close. As the largest members of North America’s deer family, mature bulls carry massive antlers that are shed and regrown each year and seeing them at this scale is something visitors never forget.

When you arrive, please check in at the gift shop. Our team will share the timing of the next tractor tour and help you purchase tickets at the counter so you’re ready to join the next ride.

As you travel through the fields, your guide shares insights about the herd and ranch life. Elk live in social groups that shift with the seasons, and each tour reflects the natural rhythm of the day sometimes the herd gathers near the wagon, other times they graze peacefully as you roll by. No two rides are exactly alike.

The wagon ride itself is part of the adventure. You’ll travel across working pastureland in an open tractor pulled wagon, so expect a fun, slightly rugged ranch experience. Tours last about 50 minutes and typically depart on the hour or half hour depending on guest arrival.

Because tours take place entirely outdoors, they run weather permitting. If conditions look uncertain, please call ahead to make sure we are open and running.
